I’ll get straight to the point. The 100 hooks project has gone south… bigly.
It was a whopping challenge. And it was just too much.
What with the kids, the renovations, and a cancer scare, something had to give.
So I’ve been hiding in my cave, feeling like a failure for a few weeks. It’s taken me a while to pick myself up and see that writing 700 hooks for seven books is no mean feat.
I’m proud of that.
And I will carry on writing 100 hooks for books—because I still believe there’s much to be learned from it…
But, I’ll just do it once a week or every other week, alternating with blurbology - breaking down the psychology behind bestselling book descriptions.
In the meantime, I have a question for ya…
I asked this in a Facebook group recently, and the response was pretty positive…
If I were to create a course on the psychology behind Amazon’s sales pages, not just the blurbs, but stuff like the AIDA model - how it applies to sales pages and the wider funnel. Also, how Amazon speaks to the five types of buyers, what A+ content really does, and a bunch of other copywriting stuff you can use and apply to your own marketing.
